Lessons that fit real life

People in Cheetham Hill and Crumpsall juggle work, shifts, study and family. So we do not push a one-size-fits-all timetable. We are open 8am–7pm, Monday to Sunday, and we try to match you with a lesson time that suits you. Early starts, after-work lessons and weekends are all possible subject to instructor availability. Tell us the days you are free and we will propose a first lesson.

Lessons in your language. Some instructors may be able to teach in languages other than English. Tell us your preference when you get in touch and we will see which instructors are available for you. We do not promise a particular language until we have checked.

What to expect on the road

A busy main road. Cheetham Hill is built around a long, busy road with buses, taxis, delivery vehicles and lots of pedestrians. We introduce it when you are ready, not in your first lesson.

Side streets and estates. Quieter streets nearby are ideal for early lessons, where you learn the controls, steering and basic junctions.

Trams and buses. Crumpsall has a Metrolink stop and bus routes run throughout. Learning to treat them with care is part of good driving.

Pedestrian awareness. Shops, schools and bus stops mean people cross unexpectedly. Your instructor will help you scan ahead and anticipate.

Heading into the city. Many learners from this area want to drive to the city centre, Salford or the nearby retail parks. We include these journeys later in your course. See our city centre and Salford pages for a feel for what comes next.

Common questions

I have a licence from another country. Can you help? Yes. You can take lessons to get used to UK roads or to prepare for a UK test. GOV.UK explains the rules for exchanging or using foreign licences, and your instructor will tell you what is practical.

Is it too late for me to learn? Lots of adults start later in life. Tell us about your experience and we will plan around it.

What do I need for lesson one? A valid UK provisional driving licence.

Will you book my driving test? No. Since 12 May 2026 only the learner can book, change or cancel a car driving test (GOV.UK). We tell you when you are ready, give you your instructor’s reference number and can sit with you while you book it yourself.

How can I check your answers? See our FAQ or message us.
